Yili signs cooperative deal with Dairy Farmers of America

Yili signs cooperative deal with Dairy Farmers of America
The second-biggest dairy firm in China, Inner Mongolia Yili Industrial Group, is reported to have signed a strategic cooperation contract with Dairy Farmers of America Inc (DFA). CIConsulting researcher Jian Aihua said that the agreement will benefit both parties - DFA can utilise the Yili brand as an entry to the huge Chinese market, while Yili will be able to develop its branding and technology.
This can be a big win win for both firms , China has enormous issues with food safety , the milk supply here has had constant issues, DFA gives them more credibility among Chinese consumers and this gives DFA direct access to the China market place.

China, the world’s 2nd largest economy, continues to be the most important market for companies looking for growth and Chinese companies continue to globalize by investing and selling their products in new markets; what is your company’s strategy for engaging China?
