Why we chose Ceres for our name?

We were inspired by two major influences:

The first is by what the ancient Roman goddess symbolized to the people of the Roman Empire; enjoying the bounty of the earth, while respecting it.

And secondly by the experience of walking down LaSalle Street to the classic art deco Chicago Board of Trade building in Chicago (which is now the home of the CME Group combined exchanges trading floors), it is impossible to miss the statue of Ceres elegantly standing on top of the building

Zheshang Securities visits Ceres Ltd in Chicago

Ceres Ltd and Zheshang Securities have had a long working relationship.

David Nealis President of Ceres Ltd first met with Zhenshang at the Ceres office in Chicago Illinois.

After an in-depth meeting with representatives of Zhenshang’s divisions of equities, futures, asset management and physical commodities the firms agreed to further work together.

The International Emerging Europe Business Council Board Member Experience

It was a good experience being a co-founder and then serving on the Board of The International Emerging Europe Business Council from May 2018 until October 2019.

The International Emerging Europe Business Council is a platform located in Shanghai, China to facilitate business opportunities in Emerging Europe countries by working together with governments and businesses.

I relocated from Shanghai back to Chicago and felt I could not give enough of my time to IEEBC so I resigned from my position , I wish them the best as more trade is developed between Emerging Europe and China.

A Shout Out to the Guys at Flexfit Caps

I recently attended Shot Show 2020 in Las Vegas and while I was wondering the miles of rows of exhibitors

I met the Flexfit Hat company (https://www.flexfit.com/) , the guys working the show were nice guys  and they gave me a multicam cap.

I stopped at their booth because I am a hat guy – I have over 130 ball caps but to be honest not many of them are camo. I accepted the swag thinking I will give it to someone else

But this hat is the most comfortable ball cap I’ve ever worn! So yeah I kept it.

So I feel that owe the guys at Flexfit a shout out for hooking me up with an awesome cap.

Seriously this cap in super comfortable !
