China Cinda introduces strategic investors
State-owned China Cinda Asset Management Co. announced it has introduced Citic Capital Holdings Ltd., Standard Chartered PLC, UBS AG and the Chinese state pension fund as strategic investors as it prepares for an IPO. Cinda was established in 1999 as one of four asset management companies designed to take bad loans off the books of the country's big four state-owned banks. Citic Capital Holdings Ltd., Standard Chartered, UBS and the National Council for Social Security Fund will jointly inject RMB 10.37 Billion (US$ 1.64billion) into Cinda to take a 16.54% stake in the company.
