De Beers retail stores expand in China The world's largest diamond miner by value De Beers has formed a JV with luxury conglomerate LVMH to open six or more retail stores in China this year. De Beers' retail venture opened its first outlet in mainland China last year as the group along the rest of the sector makes the most of Asia's enormous appetite for luxury. De Beers JV with LVMH will called De Beers Diamond Jewelers; De Beers is also refurbishing their flagship stores in London's luxury quarter and on New York's Fifth Avenue to attract wealthy Chinese buyers traveling abroad.
