Jump in Shanghai FTZ office rental prices
Office rental space in the new Shanghai free-trade zone (FTZ) have doubled in the last three-month period as landlords are taking advantage of firms rushing in to register in the area, according to Los Angeles-based brokerage firm CBRE Group Inc. Demand for office space in the 29-sq. km. area jumped to RMB4.2 (US$0.69) per sq. m., said a report released on 15 October.

Expect prime office space to be much higher.
