442,000
foreign funded firms set up in China
There
were 442,000 foreign invested enterprises in China at the end of July, an
increase of 0.26% from the month before, according to statistics provided by
the State Administration of Industry and Commerce (SAIC). The same report said
FDI declined for eight consecutive months from June 2012 but has posted a
slight recovery since then. By the end of July, China had 14.38 million
business enterprises, the SAIC report said.
China, the world’s 2nd
largest economy, continues to be the most important market for companies
looking for growth and Chinese companies continue to globalize by investing and
selling their products in new markets; what is your company’s strategy for engaging China?
