442,000 foreign funded firms set up in China

There were 442,000 foreign invested enterprises in China at the end of July, an increase of 0.26% from the month before, according to statistics provided by the State Administration of Industry and Commerce (SAIC). The same report said FDI declined for eight consecutive months from June 2012 but has posted a slight recovery since then. By the end of July, China had 14.38 million business enterprises, the SAIC report said.
