Dongfang builds 1,750MW nuclear generator for Guangdong

Dongfang Electrical Machinery Co. (DFEM) has announced it will deliver a 1,750MW nuclear generator, constructed at its production base in Deyang City, Sichuan, to the

Taishan nuclear power plant in Guangdong. DFEM said, in an interview with state-owned Xinhua News Agency, that the massive-capacity generator is the biggest in the world in terms of per-unit installed capacity. The generator is one of two that DFEM has been commissioned to construct and send to Taishan nuclear power plant.
